Dark scene in Texture Shaded view

A lot of my purchased scenes have masses of lights, which, when they're in the scene, make the entire scene dark and hard to navigate in Texture Shaded view. Now, I've since started using Filment view to navigate such scenes because Filament is great for making the scene bright and easy to see. But I was just wondering, apart from deleting every light, is it possible to make things easier to see in Texture Shaded view? If so, how?

Try CTRL-L to toggle the lights (Menu->Window->Preview Lights). The Texture Shaded preview uses OpenGL, which can only use 8 lights in the scene, probably the first ones listed. Actually turning them off uses a headlamp-type view that illuminates everything.
Thanks. It was kind of a 'beginners' question but I'd completely forgotten about that.
