Decimator for 4.21?

I paid good money for this plugin, but it never loads and the only one available is for 4.22, which I do not want use, where are the older ones and why did Daz decide to update my original, if it is incompatible?

Daz didn't update unilaterally, you must have checked the option in DIM (or Daz Central). If you cannot use the current build you could try a support ticket, otherwise you could try using the Public Build (the beta) of 4.22.x.x and do your decimating in that.

I too bought Decimator on sale in mid-May and discovered that it requires the current version of Daz Studio. I too had chosen not to upgrade to Daz Studio 4.22.  After a little discussion in one of the forums, I decided to install version 4.22 BETA to explore Decimator.  Since the BETA version does not require uninstalling an earlier version of Daz Studio, I’m OK with that.

So does the 4.22 Beta version allow all the things that I have bought for 4.21 downward to run, as I have read a lot of tools and shading of hair do not work?

I am running the latest beta, and I am not aware that there are any tools or hair not working.  There was an issue with an OOT shader, that due to an Iray upgrade stopped working, but that is fixed by an update of the shader.

So far, I have not experienced any noticeable problems with using any of the content that I have tried in the 4.22 BETA version.  I’m a dabbler/hobbyist who likes to play with this stuff just to explore and experiment.  I have no commitment or responsibility to produce anything for myself or others.  I do little with hairs so I cannot comment on that.
