Question about the sparks in the Iray SciFi VFX Kit.

I'm wondering about the spark FX in this kit are they just a 2d sprite/image or is it something that has depth with spark sprays that will look different at every angle?

    From what I can see (I own the product), it's a 3d model with cutout opacity for each spark, so yes, it looks different at various angles.
