Files with Daz Big Cat 2 or AM Bear crash on launch.

I'm trying to make a scene that has these two animals in it. Or it'll be a scene with the animal with a Genesis 8 figure. I then will try to open the file after working on it........

I get this error:

Exception Reason:

DAZStudio.exe caused ACCESS_VIOLATION in module "C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\dzcore.dll" at 0033:0000000051AB5BEE, DzElement::getLabel()+30 byte(s)

I'll update Daz and see what happens but I have no clue why this should be even happening in the first place. Hope someone can help

    If anyone else has had issues with this, I updated Daz and also saved the files without compression. Not sure what the solution is, but so far it seems to have stopped some of the file corruption but not all of it.

    I've BC2 and it seems to work fine - in duo, or trio and/or with a G8/G9 figure.

    Does this happen on any scene you create (not just one scene you keep tying to reload)?

    Yes, I have had that happen in the past when using two Catalyzer animals. AM gave me these instructions to try to recover the scene. It worked, but was kind of a cumbersome process.

    That is something that unfortunately happens from time to time. We asked DAZ to clarify the processes involved during save operations that might cause such issues, but no feedback was ever given. So the only way to deal with it is to recover the scene, and proceed with work.
    To recover the scene you can do this:

    - disable the Catalyzer plugin (or better to uninstall it), and then the scene .duf should load correctly (obviously without the Catalyzer fur)
    - now that the scene is recovered, I'd proceed like this: setup the scene using the unfurred models; when you are ready, save each animal pose, delete the models, load the Catalyzer versions and apply the poses.

    The issue came with LAMH plugin or Catalyzer plugin ?

    I don't know. I have uninstalled LAMH. The problem I had was with Catalyzer animals. That doesn't mean Catalyzer is the problem, or the only fur type that has the problem, or that it happens every time with Catalyzer fur, or that it still happens. My issue was a few years ago. Daz Studio has changed a lot since then. If it was a Daz Studio problem, the situation could be better or worse by now.

    Yea, indeed. I've not used them for quite a while either...
