i've lost ten years worth of work after a glitch in studio wiped the contents of the my files folder

    Studio won't delete files, unless you select them in the Content Library folder and select the command from the right-click menu. Are you sure the files are gone and it isn't just that the content diectory setting has been changed, or the path on disc, assuming you are looking under Daz Studio Formats/Poser Formats, or a database issue, if you are looking in another view?

    DS never had this sort of "glitch" to delete user's folder or files unless one took an action of Delete no matter accidentally or not...

    If you do really find your folders / files are all gone on the physical disk,  don't do anything further to that disk (write, move files, etc..), recover your folders / files with a recovery software.

    Then remember to periodically back them up in the future...
