Something like "Heels control" for Genesis 9?

I'm still playing with Genesis 9 to find out what I can't get. This is a big one.

https://www.daz3d.com/heelscontrol

I don't think an update looks likely (PA has only one product and the YouTube video's account has been closed). This product is absolutely incredible.I'd sorely miss it. Without it, I'd have to go back to faffing about for ages trying to tweak the pose to get it spot on with the heels my model is wearing, which can take a while. With this, I press a button. I can't recommend it highly enough. Does anyone know of anything that does something similar for G9?

Thanks :)

Moved to Product Suggestions as it is not obviously a Blender topic.

To be honest I did not really think, this would wok, but it did: Bone Minion to the rescue smiley

This is how I got this working with the mentioned Bone Minion product:

Case A: Create a new preset for shoes you have not yet used

    1. Load your Genesis 9 figure in the default pose
    2. Add the Genesis 9 shoes you want to use
    3. Adjust/Fine tune the pose, so that the shoes are as flat as possible, I usually also change the hip height of the figure
    4. Select the Genesis 9 figure and load Bone Minion Genesis 8 Female
    5. Reparent the shoes to the Genesis 8 Female Bone Minion node
    6. Select the shoes
    7. Start the heels control script
    8. Click on Save Preset and select the shoes, that should be in the list
    9. Close the dialog, the new preset should be saved

Case B: Apply a preset you already have created

    1. Load your Genesis 9 figure
    2. Add the Genesis 9 shoes you want to use
    3. Select the Genesis 9 figure and load Bone Minion Genesis 8 Female
    4. Reparent the shoes to the Genesis 8 Female Bone Minion node
    5. Apply a pose
      • when applying a Genesis 9 pose select the Genesis 9 figure node
      • when applying a Genesis 8 pose select the Bone Minion node
    6. Select the shoes
    7. Start the heels control script
    8. The script should find the preset, apply it and you are finished.

I did not experiment with alle the available options of the script. But I think this still is a huge help!

Thank you! I don't actually have Bone Minion, aside from this, it looks a great product.

    Straight on the wishlist!

Edit: no it's on sale and I have some tokens. I will get it now!

There is also Face To Face Autopose Legs For Genesis 9, which has a different approach but can reach the same goal.

Brilliant, thanks! I will check it out!

Edit: Actually it looks great - I'll just buy it, especially at 60% off!

The workaround from markusmatern is pretty neat. Thanks ! I personally found it was much easier and faster than using Face to Face Autopose...
