aux viewport not rendering nvidia

Recently, my aux viewport will not render in the Nvidia mode. I have no idea why this has suddently started happening. Any settings I need to check? I have updated the drivers to the latest version.

Is that with any scene - i.e. if you restart Daz Studio and load a cube, will aux viewport not do Iray preview?

Ah. good idea for testing.  It appears to be with only one specific character when using the LI LIE Natural Pubic Hair.  Once I delete parts of the hair, it renders. Then, when I undo the deletion, it will render as well.
