Useful Shapes isn't very useful

I just purchased "Useful Shapes and Symbols for DAZ Studio" [ https://www.daz3d.com/useful-shapes-and-symbols-for-daz-studio ] and none of the thumbnails are showing up and whatever shape I pick, it comes out looking like a square box.
I tried a manual install as well as a DIM install. I also did a re-boot of my PC. Am I doing something wrong or is this product defective?

Bad installation, by the look of it - are yopu sure there isn't also an isntallation through Daz Studio? Did you get errors on loading? How about in the log file, if you check near the end after loading (Help>Troubleshooting>View Log File)?
The log file doesn't seem to have an errors in it and I did a manual install afterwards and everything seemed to also go well. Unless the download was corrutped each time it downloaded (three times so far), this package appears to be defective. Is there anyway that I can get a credit for it?
If there is a Connectinstall that will take precedence, so you need to check that first - do you work with Daz Studio online?
Most of the time I work online. So what do I have to do?
Right-click on the product container (the folder under products>U in the Content Library pane or the product thumbnail in the Products tab of Smart Content) and if there is an Uninstall option, select it.
I tried installing and uninstalling it a few times. I'm noticing that the data is pointing to the cloud and not to my local directories. How do I change that to point to the stuff that I downloaded onto my PC. I think that might be the problem or part of it.
As Richard said Daz Connect take precedence.
So if you don't want to use that make sure that the product is uninstalled with Daz Connect (inside Daz Studio).
ok. I uninstalled it inside of DAZ studio. How do I reinstall it without there being the same problem?
After you have uninstalled inside DS, I would then close DS and uninstall and reinstall using the method you normally use. Daz Connect installations has been heard of being hard to get rid of.
If you don't want to install through Daz Studio there is no real reason to have it work online, and then if it asks to go online when you try accessing content you know there is an issue with your installation.
I should have said "currently" - though you will get personalised notifications if you log in.
