Thanks Llola, I rendered this in 3elight in Daz Studio as my laptop does not like IRay for big scenes ends up crashing Daz.

The 2 hours was deciding which spot I wanted the camera angle to be and whether or not to add people to it etc.... During the 4 hours of rendering I got caught up on some laundry and cleaning I needed to do before my granddaughter came this weekend.

I'm surprised he is even aware there is a line there.

    Great image Luci.

One smart rogue, with one epic retirement plan. You see, while rummaging around this crypt, avoiding as many undead as possible (and killing those who spotted him despite his best efforts), Dimi got the bright idea that he should use this impressive tomb as a safe place to stash the collection of shinies in his bag and pockets -most of them newly acquired in this very same crypt but that's a detail- until a day came when he would actually need them.

Just when he was preparing to shove the heavy lid back in place, something inside started to glow with an eerie blue light. At the same time, scraping and rattling sounds suggested that the skeletons and other unsavoury creatures he had previously convinced to lie down and be quiet, did not intend to stay dead. The rogue smiled vaguely to himself. "Free guards, this plan is getting better and better."

    ***

Because I can't simply load one rogue for one challenge. Apparently, there has to be a story to go with it. My contribution for November :)

I love the stories that go with Mori's images.  They are so entertaining.

*blushes* Thank you both. I like scribbling :)

"A picture says more than a thousand words", but I'd like to add that words can add a lot to a picture. Nice combination of story and image there mori yes

And somewhat on the same topic, that liquors sign really helps selling the point in Luci's render. laugh

wow, so many cool works already, it seems I'm running behind. I agree with everyone else @Saphirewild, all that time rendering was well invested!

Love that hiding turky storie as well, and that girl with the teddy looks so lonely.

@mori_mann I always love your render-stories, so keep it up, and that is a nice one as well

I was playing around with new stuff collected during the pc sale and then there was this lonely dinosaur ended up in the frozen Land.. it almost broke my heart to make it and I never dare show this to my son... ( or I better quickly make another render where it is safely back in the warm together with its friends) so darn, yes one is the lonliest number.

    Title: Frozen Land

Aww. I'm sure his friends are just waiting around the corner, all kinds of excited for this little big dino to be the one to make it to the picture ;)

  • isidornisidorn Posts: 1,601

Well done Linwelly! Let's hope that big sun in the background can melt that evil snow away and keep Dino warm.smiley

  • There are some great Ones so far.  I really like your Dino, Linwelly.  :)

    A Quiet Night In, Alone.

‘Spellbound’ is not a word often used to describe an eighth level mage, nevertheless, as Ivan watched the broadcast of FireBlood’s ‘Wake The Dead’ performance, spellbound he became.

Ever since he had so carelessly said “make yourself at home” to Bambi, the band’s guitarist, his life had become a wild, unpredictable, thrilling but exhausting ride. He had been so relieved when the band had departed for their tour; he would have his old, familiar peace and quiet back and could return to his books and his studies.

But it was just not the same. Something vivacious, vital, and vibrant was missing, to such an extent that everything now seemed gray, drab and monotonous. The quiet had gained an eerie edge. Mages are no strangers to loneliness, far from it as it is part and parcel of magehood, but tonight it was biting especially hard. He had largely ignored the band’s music while they were with him, but, missing them as he was and feeling curious, he had decided to watch their performance.

“One good thing about music, when it hits you feel no pain.” -- Bob Marley

So now he stood, watching, listening, spellbound.
