Several figures in my library load with some or all of the joint posing limits switched off. Turning them all back on one at a time is really annoying.
Is there a way to turn them all on at once, or better yet, a way to have them all on as default?
Select your figure in the scene tab and click on it with right mouse button to get a menu. From the menu select Expand - Expand All.
Click again on the figure with right mouse button and from the menu use Select - Select All (or Ctrl+A; Cmd+A on Mac).
Click with right mouse button on the parameters tab (on the letters "Parameters") to get a menu and from the menu select Limits - Limits On (Rotation). Or you can use main bar menu Edit - Figure - Limits - Limits On (Rotation).
To save the change to the figure you can probably (Im not sure that it will work for non .duf or .dsf figures) use File - Save As.. - Support Asset - Save Modified Assets.. Or you can try saving the figure as scene subset with File - Save As.. - Scene Subset and than load subset instead your original figure but Im not sure that scene subsets save changes to the figure limits. Or you can try resaving the figure with File - Save As.. - Support Asset - Figure/Prop Assets..

Where do you turn them on? I assume, possibly incorrectly, that you are unable to move limbs in certain directions or bend knees and such?
EDIT
I played around with it and I think the dogbone icon for the Active Pose Control or Alt+Shift+P might do it. Maybe this helps?
On the Bend, Twist, Side-Side sliders on the Pose and Animate tab that appear when an individual bodypart is selected.
The little gear icon at the end of the slider that opens the menu.
Parameter settings.
The problem is that the limits that prevent limbs being bent in freakish ways are all off by default on several of my figures, they should be on.
Can I make them be on by default again so that I load the figure, and pose limits are on?
The closest thing I can think of is the setting under edit:preferences:content library to keep limits always on. See screenshot below. Hope it helps.
I tried. That just works for applying poses...
