Render starts then IRAY rend error and ends, Render is clearly not done all samples.

I lastly assumed it was old drivers, was on 546, but I just updated to the latest Nvidea Drivers (using DDU) as of today but The issue remains. So I am going to come here and ask, maybe there is something I can try because I am seriously depressed that I have made 0 progress all weekend.

I have 2 G8 characters in the scene, interior scene and I thought it initially was because the second character is using the Fantasy Skins 8.1 because it felt like all these issue started after introducing the fantasy skins

G81F and G81M, the Male is using the fantasy skins, I rendered a few PNGs before this where the G81M was not skin colored but now that the G8M is, I am having an issue like this every 2nd or 3rd render, need to restart and reload the scene to be able to render again.

Scene uses about 10,329MB according to HWInfo, I grabbed the number after the Rendering starts as I know it inflates (went from 3GB to 11GB)

    One thing jumps out, "Geometry import (1 triangle object with 35 M triangles, 1 instance)"... What is that?
    DS likes quads better than triangles, and 35 million triangles is insane amount.

    When rendering, do you use Iray in your viewport as well?

    No I use Iray Preview and then change to Smooth Shaded before hitting Render.

    So its the amount of triangles that could be causing it, so it would have to be geometry right? not textures, I was under the impression that it was the textures because the issue comes up as soon as I make visible the G81 with the fantasy skins enabled, the setup process enables a lot of extra options in Surfaces (FX1, FX2 colors).

    The main thing I can think of is that my scene is:

    1. Indian Bedroom 5 (no longer available on Daz Store) does not look that heavy on triangles and quads
    2. G81 female with clothing
    3. G81 male with shorts on only
    4. The bedsheet from https://www.daz3d.com/ultimate-dforce-single-bed

    I have to assume its the bedsheet? its a dForce bedsheet and it has tons of geometry from the looks of Wireframe view.

    I also tried lowering the SubD from 4 to 3 and so far it feels like its crashing less but the problem is still there.

    Just wanted to confirm the take away here is that its the Triangles count that matters (balance of Triangles and Texture size) - Is there an easy way to see the total triangles and some sort of Range I should stick Under, for 23.4GB of VRAM ?

    That is one possible problem, as it seems that Iray preview leaves stuff in VRAM cache for subsequent use just like regular Iray rendering does, but these caches are different with preview being lower quality.
    When rendering, the stuff in the regular Iray cache will be used again, but stuff in preview cache is just wasting additional VRAM.

    One should change to texture or smooth shaded first, save the scene, exit DS, open DS and the scene again without activating Iray preview before rendering.
