Problem loading Sabby V4 characters – missing Aiko4 file. Where can I find it?

New user here, grateful for some help.

I have been loading some Victoria 4 characters by Sabby and Vyktohria into Daz 4.8.  I have already bought and loaded V4 and associated morphs.  The Vyk characters load up nicely – no error messages or problems with face and body injection onto a V4.2 base.  But I am having trouble with the Sabby characters.  When I attempt a Sabby character body injection, an error message comes up saying Daz cannot find….. /Runtime/libraries/Daz/Victoria4/Deltas/Aiko4/InjDeltas.FBMA4AikoBody.pz2

I have searched for the missing file and cannot find it anywhere in My Daz 3D Library on my hard disk.  And I have carefully installed all the Daz files via Install Manager.

If I skip this error message I can keep going with setting up the character, but things quickly start to ‘misbehave’ – for example hair will not take colours and skin mats and lipsticks come out strange colours.  No such issues with the Vyktohria characters.

Very grateful if someone could tell me where to find that file, or otherwise point me in the right direction!

    Willanik:

Aiko 4 is the Animish character morph for Victoria 4. Sometimes content creators made characters that used the V4 character morphs (Aiko 4, Girl 4, Stephanie 4) to create their characters, although that should have been stated clearly in the product description. If you wish to use the Sabby morphs without A4, they should still work, albeit look different than the promos. The "misbehaviour" you have described should not be related, but caused by something else. Otherwise, you'll need to purchase Aiko 4 to get the intended results.

You need to buy the Aiko 4 character.  The base character is here: http://www.daz3d.com/aiko-4-base

Aiko 4 is a morph on V4, but some characters sold here and at other stores require both V4 and Aiko 4.

I have no idea what your other issues are.  You should have been able to ignore the error about the missing Aiko morph and continued. The character would just look a little different.

  • Thanks guys, you are right that I can forge ahead without the Aiko file.  I still seem to be having variable results with my skin mats but, as you say, it is not the Aiko file that is the problem.

Which character is calling for Aiko? It should have had it listed as a requirement. I apologize if it did not.

Hi Sabby, I am 99% sure it was Violet as that is the first of your characters that I have loaded.  I cannot recheck unfortunately as I have subsequently purchased and loaded Aiko.  Love your characters by the way!
