How to enhance hair in postwork?

In my opinion, hair is the most difficult prop to render. I know some of you have achieved good results with AI enhancements. I'm using DxO for postwork, what are you doing?

 I use GIMP. It has a plethora of gear for hair postwork, filters, brushes, presets, attributes, tools and, the brut force option of the airbrush.
