Helping with rigging

Hello, i have a question about rigging in Daz Studio.
i have made my own 3D models and i am using Daz to rig them. everything works fine but there is one thing i need help with:
When i use any daz figure like genesis 2 for example i can manipulate the pose by using the manipulator on the node i have selected. all the parent nodes act accordingly to how a real body would if i pulled on that bodypart.
now if i use that same technique to a figure i made and rigged (in this case hair for genesis 2) instead of moving it it distorts and i can't easily rig it like the other figures.
does anybody know what i have to do to fix my issue so i can pose my models the same way i can pose genesis X models?

I don't think I really understand your question.
When posing a rigged item, you should only use rotations. In the image of your hair it looks like you have translated it.
yes. i want to permanently turn off translations so i can only rotate it. for genesis 2 (as an example) its turned off permanently but its still posable easily. for my hair it is not turned off by default.
