Daz Studio Beta 4.22.1.99 And 4.22 Not Installing Properly

Hi everyone!

I've just updated to the latest version of Daz Studio Beta, 4.22.1.99 (64-bit) through DIM, as I've always done.

When I open it, it's unusable. It has a new light skin and no button is shown (screenshot attached). When I try to change layout, it's like none is installed.

I have the latest Nvidia drivers (551.86). I have a RTX 4070, Ryzen 5 3600, Windows 11 (with the latest updates), 64GB RAM.

When I try to uninstall it through DIM, it stops at 0%. Furthermore, it shows a size of -1bytes (screenshot attached), and it's not recognized as a launchable product. The standard release is shown to be 1.3GB, but it does not work either, everything is blank (screenshot attached).

Does anybody know how to solve this issue, please?
Everything used to work just fine before the update (I've always used the Beta in the last years, I've just installed Daz 4.22 when the other didn't work). I really needed this weekend to catch up with renders.

White or empty interface usually means that the new version was installed while DS was still running, so the technical files for layout, menu and so on could not be updated properly.

Reinstalling after making sure DS is not running anymore usually fixes it. Not sure why your DIM can't uninstall it though...

Thank you so much for the quick and effective reply Leana!

That was indeed the case. Daz was running in the background while I tried to install the new Beta (which is not .99, btw).
I reopened DIM, it showed the Beta as not installed. I reinstalled it, making sure Daz was not running in the background, and this time all went fine.

    Thank you!
