I was given a gift card, yet when i try to use it , it says zero on the amount and or wrong gift card No... yet i have an email from daz telling about the gift card and the amount obn it, yet it won't let me use it, anyone know why this is, or has the same problem ?.

Did you receive two emails? Sometimes two codes are sent, but only one works.
I have purchased a GC on Thursday December 24th (for the extra 5% on GCs) BUT there is a problem because the two usual codes sent by DAZ both tell that the GC value is $0.00 when I check their status. One of them should allow me to redeem my GC but it is not the case. I have immediately submitted a request to the store Dept but of course I am still waiting for a reply since it was the Christmas weekend (even if the issue occured on Christmas Eve...).
Since I wanted to buy different things during the weekend I just had to purchase them and to pay again even if I have a GC that I am still unable to redeem...
It is very annoying (and I am kind when I just say that it is annoying) because it is the third time that this happens when I buy a GC!
I hope to get a reply from the store Dept TODAY because having seen nowhere that the DAZ offices were closed on the 24th I do not know what I must think of all that...
As long as you've submitted a ticket, you should have a response soon. Please keep in mind that especially over a holiday weekend, they may get backed up.
Thank you all, I only got one email with one code..... but Christmas period or not... getting gift cards that do not work at all is not very good, I am slowly but surley getting pi-- off using daz and its products, I also find it very bad that old hash products from years ago still cost so much, it must just be new people that buy theses products as they know no better. The lack of tutorials is unbeleivable unless you have to buy them, again a money making thing i expect.
But back to the original complaint... bad practice not to have a gift card that dosn't work at all.
Yes, I have submitted my ticket at 01:47am (DAZ local time) on December 24th and I will see all that with the store Dept...
I agree with you about what happens (it is the third time that it happens to me...). Perhaps that the GC system should be to rethink?... Just a suggestion of course because it is not "my business".
Hi all... work it out... once the gift card is redeam, go shopping.. in the cart proceed to check out and there will be a box where you can apply your store credit. Thanks for all replies.. took some working out , but it wasn't made clear by Daz..
Thank you very muvch for your suggestion. I have checked the status of my GC in the shopping cart but I am still told that the GC value is $0.00... I believe that there is a real problem with my GC since I can't redeem it without the help of the store Dept...

it will remain zero in your shopping cart untill you actualy procede to payment, when you get there , there is a little check box that has your money value in it as store credit, put a check mark in the box and you will be able to use your money for purchase, don't worry if you don't use it all as what is left will still show in your store credit.
This was the case for me , but you might have a seperate issue, hope you get it resolved soon.

I definitely think that there is another issue because when I check the status of my GC both codes say that it is worth $0.00. Since there is no value I am afraid that the system will not give me the exact value of the GC idf I try to redeem it. Well I am waiting and I just hope to get a reply soon since my ticket was submitted very quickly.
