UV Maps (beginner question)

Hello everyone, this is my first time posting so please let me know if this is the wrong thread. I recently bought a sock clothing off daz3d and it contains UV maps to change the texture. However, I'm confused on where exactly the UV maps go can anyone offer any advice? Thanks!

    If you mean UV Set file, it locates in the data folder of the product, in the subfolder of "UV Set", with file extension *.dsf, . If you mean UV layout, go to Surfaces pane, select a surface, then choose UV View from View Selection dropdownlist in Viewport.

    If you mean templates, they show you how to lay out the maps if you create your own - so they go anywhere that is convenient for opening them in an image editpr for painting on top of, they are not used in Daz Studio directly (unless you use them for a fake wireframe effect).
