    I'm going to steal an amusing observation an artist made on another board because I know he'll never share it here.

    I'd like to contribute to the thread but the AI doesn't seem to know what to do with the prompt, "naked vicky in a temple with a sword".  The progress bar is filled but the center cursor has been spinning for the last 5 minutes.  I don't know what's happening but this thing ain't got nuthin' on Stable Diffusion's efficiency.

    It won't even render an image with the word "cleavage" in the prompt.   Like you, I sat there for 10 minutes with the timer wheel spinning at "100% complete".   Predictable, but annoying.

    Hmm, it's OK, but not what I was envisioning.

    2) Tweak the text : woman wearing mediaeval clothing standing on a modern city street 


    Hmm, not exactly a modern city is it?

    3) Tweak again: woman wearing mediaeval clothing standing in a street in modern day new york 


    Well, at least there's some city blocks in the background, but the foreground buildings and road still look ancient.

    But the worst part, in all the above, is the fingers. Surely AI can master that; four straight ones and a lumpy one on the side is all that is needed.

    @Nyghtfall3D - here is a variation on "vicky in a temple with a sword"    This is "beautiful woman wearing a metal corset in a fiery temple holding a sword battling a Gorgon."   Seems a little weak on the Gorgon part, but we have fire, and we have a metal corset.  laugh

    adding my experiments here

    first prompt: two women kissing on the beach

    the result aint bad but has the AI typical difficulties with hands fingers and arms and where to put them

    second prompt: hight mountain environment partly trees and partly rocks, with the sun rising

    I like the result here, this is somethign one could use to place outside the window in a render of a room, to have some easy landscape, the resolution is rather low so it's not somethign to place figures in directly

    third prompt: cyberpunk cityscape with flashy neaon ilghts a male person with dreadlocks looking at the camera

    is successfully ignored the typo I made in the prompt and the result is close to what I had in mind, except that it ignored the looking into camera, the ear is wonky and it avoided showing hands

    so, I think I like the creation of environments for backgrounds, the results clrearly look heavily DAZ influenced, I still wonder how pre-trained the version they got was, or if it was solely trained on DAZ owned material. If the second is the case, this is a solution to the ethical problem and opens AI to be a tool.

    how much joy that brings to thr creative soul is a different question

    In all honesty, several of these look pretty good for an infant AI tool. They have good coloring, and lighting and really capture a mood. Some look like images direct from DS. The tool still needs a lot of work, but for a starting point, I think they did ok.

    They need to remove some of the restrictions.

    This would be correct. As nudity is against the TOS on the website, the AI won't generate it. IDK if this will or will not change at some point but at this time it will not do it. (They may put something in this regard in the FAQ, Im not sure)

    Heh-heh, I was wondering what would happen with THE traditional default Daz prompt.  laugh

    Although, I thought it involved a chain mail bikini. Maybe try that instead of nude. (don't look at me, I've already gone through almost all of my monthly allotment of images)

    There was a new generative AI app being advertised on DA. I'm guessing that would be more to the liking of those folks.

    Very pleasing: the program seems to 'understand' French. I was planning to make a series about the Night of St. Bartholomew (August 23/24, 1572), when thousands of French Protestants (Huguenots) fell victim to a terrible massacre in France at the wedding of King Henry of Navarre. I remembered the French movie 'La Reine Margot' ('Queen Margot') with the wonderful Isabelle Adjani, which deals with this topic. After typing in the movie title, I got - besides a few irrelevant blondes in modern wedding dresses - some very good portraits of queens in royal Renaissance regalia. Chapeau!

    Same. I can under stand using NUDE or NUDITY, but sexy or breasts, c'mon a little too strict IMO
