Working with House interiors
I purchased: http://www.daz3d.com/a-cozy-kitsch-living-room and http://www.daz3d.com/the-cosy-kitsch-living-room-props
I have tried to figure out how to obtain the long shots inside. I cannot seem to get these types of shots. Any suggestions? I even tried using the camera. How do you work with 3D building interiors? Thanks.

Try hiding the wall, if the walls are separate (that's how films and televsion programmes are made - the camera is generally well beyond the limits of the room, which lacks at least one wall and possibly a ceiling too). With Iray you can also use a Section Plane to make things invisible to the camera - set its otpions to clip lights and it will not affect the lighting or relfections, unlike a hidden wall - that's in the Create menu and hides anything between the plane and the camera, the clipping options are in the Parameters pane with the plane selected.
One thing Poser, Carrara and iClone do I cannot figure out how to in DAZ studio is hide backfaces, this is particulary useful for walls and textured sphere surrounds etc.
I believe it is possible I just do not know how.
If the wallls arn't individually selectable (and I've never understood why anyone makes them so they arn't!) use the Geometry Selector tool to hide or delete a wall, or at least a big enough hole to "look through".
Thank you for all the suggestions, I have been applying them and they seem to work.
Yo can also select the camera and in parameters tab under Camera menu reduce the focal length. That will "elongate" the image/perspective. Notice on the first image you attached that sofa closer to the camera appears to be bigger than sofa further away, although it really isnt. Thats do to perspective "elongation".
