DS 4.22 changes to how ghost lights work?
Before submitting a bug report I wanted to check if anyone else is having this problem.
Since updating to 4.22.0 I have had a problem with cutout opacity and luminance on surfaces.
I first noticed the issue with hair that looked buggy. Setting the hair to 0.99 cutout opacity rather than 1.0 fixed this.
A lot of my scenes use ghost lights made from flat planes set to 0.00001 opacity, with luminance set very high, on the ceiling of a room.
Now these scenes appear much darker than they did in previous versions of DS.
This is a problem with continuity for my project which requires new content in these old scenes... I can no longer get the lighting to match.
These scenes were saved in 2022 on version 4.15 (if I remember correctly) and now opening them, the lighting is much darker.
Can anyone else confirm this problem before I try downgrading DS or chasing other causes of the issue?

There was indeed a change since 4.15, but it was not in 4.22, it was earlier (one of the 4.20 IIRC).

I skipped 4.20 and only recently updated.
Thank you, this should help me get back to work!
Additionally, if you used KindredArts ghost light kits, there's a new version of kit 1 for 4.20+ in the store: https://www.daz3d.com/iray-ghost-light-kit-one
