No settings options on render tab sliders

I like to change the colour on the Dome rotation in the render tab, by normally clicking on the gear icon of that slider, i have only just updated to 4.22.016 (generally always leave updates, as they always have bugs) but now when i click on the gear icon (only in the render tab) i do NOT get the parameter settings to allow me to change the colour, instead i get favorites, lock, hidden and rest. have no idea what sort of fresh hell this is? is there a work around for this as i would actually like to change the colour of the Dome rotation slider?, so that i can see spot it easier.
