Hi. I just need a quick confirmation before i go ahead with the purchase, even better if Inane's Glory could answer, does using this will add lights(indoor lights such as eyeballs lights and flourescent light panels) to any ceilling and walls inside or outside a building structure?
b)and also add photometric iray lights to the scene?
c)will this be able to help illuminate indoor room ligthing?(and does it work like mesh lights?)
Thanks for help.

Not quite sure what you mean with eyeballs lights, but what you get is a set with various -complete- lights, meaning the lamp models and various Iray light settings made for those lamps: as such they are mesh lights... with various (ies) settings to emulate led, fluoerescent or incandescent lights... (so not just lighting presets). I think the promos themselves show they can be used for in- and outdoor lighting
And additionally, a whole bunch of shaders that can be used on more then just the included lamp models.... and light presets for some great scenery sets by other artists..
thanks for the heads up. i m not quite sure whats the real name is but people i know use to call it eyeball lights where it is fixed inside a ceiling, usually emitting yellow lights. i see some eyeball lights in the promo image, which is great. If what u said that there are lamp models and also provides lighting with various settings, then thats great news, we can just add lights anywhere we want on the walls and ceilings. Thanks again.
nvm i think that eyeball lights is called recessed ceiling lights in this product. just googled it. Thanks
Its a great set, I highly recommend it.
yes i think they really look amazing. Thanks again for the help and recommendation!
Sorry to be late in responding. Usually I find posts like this fast but with the forum search being MIA I didn't see this till just now. To answer your main question, yes they are mesh lights that have been specifically designed to simulate several different types of recessed lights while not actually being recessed themselves and so can be used on just about any ceiling or wall, indoors or out. They are fully fuctioning lights by themselves and can be used to light rooms all by themselves or in conjection with any other types of lights you choose to use. In fact you could also use them in place of regular spot or point lights if you really wanted to. All the light if the promos was created by just the lights included in this set.
thank you InaneGlory for the input and confirmation. helps a lot. Just one last question, can the light shaders be used to light up existing lamp or other light models which came with other props in a scene. For example the Cafe Luca scene.
http://www.daz3d.com/cafe-luca . I don think it comes with preset lights. can i use your Iray lights to light up the lamps and lights in this scene for example? Thanks Inaneglory

Thanks
Unfortunately no, you can't use the settings themselves on lights designed into someone else's sets. Well technically you could but the results wouldn't be very good. I wish you could but it's a problem in how some things are designed within DS. While I don't have the set so I can't guarantee this but you should be able to is load up some of my lights and move them into place over the lights that are designed in. Once you have them in place you can get rid of the built in ones (they should be either separate props you get remove or separate material zones you can turn invisible) or it just might be that my lights will completely cover over the built in ones, then you don't have to do anything.
awesome thanks for info. Still your light sets are awesome. Gonna purchase soon. Thanks again InaneGlory
