LOCKING CAMERA POSITION
FOR SOME REASON, MY CAMERAS ARE NEVER STAYING IN POSITION, AND CONSTANTLY APPEARING ACROSS MY SET, SOMEWHERE ELSE; EVEN AFTER i PARENT THEM OR USE THE 'POINT AT' FEATURE, IN CAMERAS>EDITOR.
...and I'm wasting large of amounts od time repositioning them.
Is there a way to lock them in place, once I select the figures I want them to point focus on (point at)?

You can use the tick mark in the Scene pane. Select the camera in the Scene pane, click on the arrow with the tick mark in the 'S' column, and the tick will change to a cross. That means that you will not be able to select the camera in the Viewport (it is still selectable in the Scene pane though) It means taht in a crowded scene, you wont accidentally select the camera.
There are some easy to follow screen capters here

It looks to be for 4.5 but 4.7 and 4.9 are the same.
