Where to get old version of Daz3D? (4.7 64bits)
Hi,
I'm thinking of buying a new computer but I'm worried that the new Daz3D version changes (Iray, for instance) are incompatible with my current workflow.
Is there a way to still download the 4.7 version? Install Manager doesn't show it as an option, does it?
Cheers,

The only way is to contact customer support and ask them if they would give you a copy.
Hello works. 3Delight is still available in DS4.8, you are not obliged to use Iray, but it can be used with CPU only, that is what I use it with.
Thank you, JimmyC_2009.
If I can only use 3Delight with CPU then I'm afraid I really need the 4.7 version :(
Hope they can help because I'm starting to sell some of my work and I really need 3Delight.
Cheers!

Thank you, Leana.
That's what I was afraid of. I really hope they can get me the previous version. Otherwise my workflow is over :(

3Delight never worked with anything else but CPU, so using 4.7 wouldn't change anything about that.
Yes, as Leana says, 3Delight only ever worked with CPU anyway, so there is no change at all in 4.8 apart from being able to use Iray if deired. All of your content will still work in 4.8, and you can use 3Delight as normal in DS4.8, in fact, I believe that 3DL was updated for 4.8 so works even better.
Are you sure, Leana? LOL if that's the case I'm a complete retard :D
But it's strange because in Preferences > Hardware Features I see this (attachment):
Great news for me. Sorry for posting this thread (should I delete it?)
Thank you all.

Your video card is used for the preview or for when you render in OpenGL mode, not for 3Delight rendering. That's CPU only.
You can still render in OpenGL modes in 4.8 too, btw, they simply added Iray as another option.
