Learn to Spot Incorrect Normal Map Tangent/Direction
I notice when looking at PA's product renders, it appears quite a few products are made with normal maps that are facing the wrong way. This will make, say for instance grout and mortar joints that should be a bit recessed, sticking out instead. A correct Normal Map for Daz Studio should have yellows and reds facing to the right, blues and greens facing to the left, brighter shades facing up and darker shades facing down. You can correct this by opening your normal map in photoshop and invert the green channel. If you are texturing with Substance Painter always check your normal maps before using them, even if you have checked "Open GL" in your setup, they are almost always facing the wrong way. Learn to look and verify your normal maps, Red and yellows facing to the right, blues and greens facing left.
