There are props that automaticaly attach to body parts of a figure; shoes, bracelets.... . My guess and my first question that this information for pointing the prop is written in the .duf file of the prop.
Second question, i would like to create "smart props" from .obj stuff that i made. I would do the following importing the .obj file add textures and bump maps, save it as as a scene .duf . But the next step would be to make the prop attach to a body part. How do i do that?
I already know that .duf files can be altered by using notepad++.

Once you have saved the item as an asset file (File>Save as>Support Assets>Figure prop Asset) you can save a Wearables preset (File>Save as>Wearable preset) with the prop parented to a selected figure.
So i saved the item as a figure prop asset no problem and i saved a wearable preset that does not work as i expected.
I can load the prop as a .duf file no problem but when i aply the weareble preset i get the prop and the figure to wich it is attached?
What i would like to do is load the figure load or merge the figure prop asset and after this is done pointing the prop to a part of the figure so it is atached and in a correct position.
Make sure you had only the prop checked in the option dialogue when saving the preset.
Hey thanks very much Richard works very fine.
