I have 2 character in two different scenes.

The initiation of the characters movement becomes very slow when using IK in one of the scenes but quite normal in the other.

What is actually causing the difference?

I've tried to delete all the objects, and left only one character. but still very slow.
the subd still under 3 of values.

Strangely a pinned bone can be moved swiftly like normal.

    Make sure no clothing or hair has smoothing set to use Interactive Update.
  • If it iss tarting from scratch it may also need to load the deltas (the actual shape changes) for any corrective morphs that are triggered.

    No interactive update is used.

    @Richard
    What do you mean by starting from scratch?

  • With the bones in their zero position all of the corrective morphs will also be zero, so the deltas will not be loaded.
