Iray preview not updating

This happens sometimes when using Iray preview mode. 

  • In Iray preview mode, scene preview renders in viewport as normal
  • Change a perameter
  • Preview will not update and is stuck trying to render in viewport indefinitely. GPU under load. 
  • Change render mode to surface shaded
  • Change render mode back to Iray
  • Scene preview renders in Iray viewport as normal.

    can you rotate camera while in iray preview.  sometimes weird things happen if you have iray decal on an instance or iray decal not parented to something.

    Huh this happens to me too.

    I'll render about 8 to 10 scenes, then the IRAY preview just breaks. Have to restart DAZ Studio to get it to work again. This is with the newest Nvidia studio drivers and 4.22 Pro.

    Didn't happen before. Is there a memory leak or something?
