Contacting Vendors?
Howdy,
This may be an odd question, but I have to ask.
Is there a way to contact a PA/Vendor to ask questions about a product? There have been many times that I (being rather unskilled in the mastery of DAZ Studio) have had questions about a product. Sometimes it's a question regarding the functionality of a product, other times it may be a question about what product was used in a promotional image.
The latest example is regarding one of the new releases, Herlinda (DAZ Original, and Magic Brush). I'm dying to know what clothing item(s) are used in the first pop up promotional image:
Is there a specific section of the forum for questions like this, or a way to reach out to a PA with questions about a product?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated (and I really tried my best to locate that outfit on my own, but so far, no success...so if anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be grateful)
Thanks,
Grizzly

It's specifically in the deal that PAs have with Daz that Daz will act as an intermediary for customer interactions; some vendors may still choose to directly interact with customers anyway, but it is not mandatory, and so there is no formal process to directly contacting vendors - only to contact customer support and have them decide whether a question merits being passed on.
Also considering that many contract out their promo pictures, and not all of them have English as a first language, directly contacting them may not be productive anyway.
Asset find requests though can be posted in the forum for other users to try to respond to. I don't know exactly what that outfit is, but it is reminiscent of xtra-art's various sci-fi body suits, so it might be one of them.
The suit is https://www.daz3d.com/x-fashion-dark-cat-outfit-for-genesis-8-female-s
The gloves are from a different outfit, and I think I know which one it is but can't think of it right off.
Good spot with the suit. Gloves shouldn't be too hard to re-create with a 0.15cm geoshell on the hands and a couple of cylinders shrunk onto each wrist (possibly with dForce) and a smoothing modifier applied.

Richard
It is a shame that you cannot communicate directly with the provider. Reporting errors to DAZ does nothing. Incorrect products are either not corrected by an update or after many months. This is not customer -friendly. You can see that well on the tiresome duplicate formula error that produce Magic Brush and Vootw products. Updates are rarely or never and new faulty products are always on the market. DAZ does not seem to disturb this and the developers cannot directly point out problems due to DAZ's company policy.
