G9 lip morphs will LIE mask work?

I've read various forum suggestions for creating a mask to allow color to be applied to G9 lips, but I'm not sure if this method would work if I purchased and applied lip morphs that would change the shape of the lips themselves. Would I really need to create separate masks for each different lip shape?

    A morph will move the vertecesd, but not the UV map. So a mask will still work.
