DForce on bones, not on the mesh?

Hi!
is there a way to make a dForce simulation with the bones, instead of the meshof the bones?
Or in other words: Chains, tubes, robes that fall realistically but maintain theire form (or more technical, only deform in what is allowed over the weight map?)
Best wishes

Nope... bones have no geometry so they could not be dForced. Instead, depending on the items, you may either set appropriate properties on dynamic surfaces... or a better way is to use Dynamic Surface Add-On, as the "inner support" when "outer mesh" is draping.
For instance, this product use the add-on technique - https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-necklace-merchant-resource ... this product use dynamic surfaces + rigid follow nodes - https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-string-lights-
dForce ropes and tubes: https://www.daz3d.com/sy-dforce-ropes-vines-and-tubes
dForce chains : https://www.renderosity.com/marketplace/products/142137/swt-dforce-dynamic-chains-merchant-resource
disclaimer: I never used those so I dont know how well they work at maintaining the "rigid shapes".

I've used dynamic chains that work well. All chain / rings are set as dynamic surface add-on draping with a dForced node.
