Cutting out part of an animation

Hi,

Is there a way to cut out a part of an animation, while keeping everything else intact?

Let's say I have an existing 600-frame animation, and would like to cut out frames 101-200, so the original frame 201 would become frame 101, and the animation would end up being 500 frames long.

Daz Studio 4.8, and I have Animate2, KeyMate and Graphmate, if they help... It's a timeline animation, not animate2 blocks.

Thanks,

Ati

I render to stills even for animations; would render out the sections in 2 takes: 1-100, 201 to 600.

That's what I'm doing for now. Putting it all together becomes harder to follow though, but I guess I'll write a batch script to renumber the still images, if there is no better solution.

Maybe by cutting the scene in sections - cut off 2/3rds and save the 1/3 as a sub-scene. Then clear all and load the full scene; remove the other 2/3rds and save the last 1/3.

Then clear all and load the 1st subscene, merge in the last one? I haven't tried this myself but AFAIK it should work.
