Third party content morphs + Parameters pane

I every so often unintall third party content like original characters from popular games and other popculture stuff. I uninstall by deletign all the folders within data, people, runtime but sometimes when I have Daz open I can still see there morphs in the parameters pane. I went in to edit mode to delete the morph but shouldn't it just disappear automatically? Just wondering.

How do you delete it from the database?

Deleting with Edit Mode in Parameters pane won't work...that just removes the properties from the list. You have to physically delete all product files from all of your Daz Libraries. Make sure you don't have any multiple installations.

Sorry I wasn't clear. I went into my "My Daz 3D Library" folder and deleted the third party items from the folders that contained the product, such as, data, People, Runtime. Some morphs of characters are still showing up in the Parameters tab even though the assets have been deleted.

It'll be simple to check if you've really deleted them all. Click the Gear icon on the right of the Morph property - Parameter Settings..., there's a File Path field, click Browse to the file location... check and delete.

Thank you! That helped. I found out the link lead to another location on my computer which is Documents/DAZ 3D/Studio/My Library/data/DAZ 3D/Genesis 8/..... which begs the question... How did it get there? I've never installed any third party items in that folder.

Well it happens... if you wrongly select the folder when extracting / installing files or if you save morph assets to the wrong Library...
