Is there a shortcut or can I create a shortcut to refresh the whole Daz content? It's not a big thing but still annoying to scroll up and down (image added)?

Edit: Now, as I started to thing about it, such shortcuts may be usful for quickly opening and jumping at some mostly used subforders like "People" (for example).

Just right-click on My Daz3D Content in the content library and choose "Refresh." I've always assumed that refreshes everything.

Refreshing is only needed when one makes changes/additions to the library while DS is running.

    Starting DS refreshes everything.

Refresh function only refreshes the currently-selected folder. If you wanna refresh everything of DS Formats, Ctrl + Home in Content Library, Refresh. Then click Go Back button to the previous folder you selected.

Refresh (All) will be needed, for instance, after you directly dump files (e.g. from a 3rd-party product ZIP) into your Daz Library.

By the way, as no Action is defined for Refresh function in DS, so there's no way to assign a shortcut to it...

  • I know. But what I need is actually not a real refreshing, but the additional function the refreshing has - it close all the subfolders. I have ~100 subforders in Scene builder/Scene subset, almost the same subfolders number in the pose presets, a huge number of props subfolders, 50-60 Presets forlders and on top of this the People subfolders. Scrollling up and down to find the needed subfolder is PITA, but hitting Refresh closes all of them and I can quickly go and open directly what I need.

Saving the scene also closes all the subfolders, except the one you are looking at

LOL... my beard grows while waiting the scene to be saved on my PC. Although the with the same CPU, 16 RAM and 2GB Video, Blender saves the same scene for seconds AND makes 2 quick backups and 5 standard backups by default (I was a Blender guy several years ago but have to move to DAZ because of the huge number of ready made human models).
