Daz Studio unexpected shutdowns after new update
New day new Problem!
I got some pre made daz figure Blue HD and Helena HD which my daz not able to render. I have multiple figures and all of them are working perfectly. Both figures gives error of memory which was not the case before I have rendered these figures alot of time in heavy scene but now I cant even get the basic render. I thoght my files might have corrupted but after creating new file the problem continues. I am wondering if anyone has got the same pronblem with this or some other figure. I even did changes in threshold value in render settings and checked CPU fallback but choosing that and starting a render shutdown my whole PC. So not sure what is the problem here I have also re-install the daz. I have tried to render the whole thing in base sub division but same problem of memory I get with pretty much same value. I contacted DAZ but I think they are on holidays due to christmas. I have a RTX 3060ti 8gb and 16gb ram. Could this be gpu drivers problem? but none of other figures or g9 is giving me same problem.

Hi I finally come to know after few more trials that there is problem with a hair cap which i am using on both the models so both models are working well with some other hair cap. I was using the hair cap earlier and it was working fine without any problem but for some reason it is not working now. Is there anything I can fix this problem. The hair cap is - Mega updo hair
Hi Thanks for the reply but how Do i update a product on DIM it says already installed. I cant see any updates here.
You can't update if the PA doesn't, you can't contact the PA either, the only thing you can do is file a bug report to the the DAZ support team, or ask for a refund if the product doesn't work as expected.
There's some PAs who like to make custom shaders or custom lights. These work with a specific version of iray, but may not work with future/past versions. It would be correct to specify the required iray/daz studio version in the product page, but unfortunately this is not always the case. A possible good practice is to avoid products which use custom shaders or lights, also because these can't be exported/converted, the standard daz shaders and lights are perfectly capable there's really no need for more variants.
Hi I reinstalled the whole package and now it is working alright as it is used too. I thought there is a way to update the product which I am not familiar with.
