Original Face Transfer and Genesis 9
Just wanted to pass this on to those who have the original Face Transfer add-on. With Daz now selling Face Transfer 2 that includes the Genesis 9 figure, I decided to check something in my copy of the original. When you choose a picture to use, there is an option to use the Genesis 9 male/female. I don't own FT2 so I don't know what bells and whistles it includes, but I currently happy with FT1. Plus, there's a bonus. As you know, when doing a face transfer for a Genesis 8 figure you have to find a picture of the person with their long hair tied back. But if you are like me, all the pics I have are with the hair styled naturally. Meaning you end up with bangs plastered on the forehead or/and hair shadow or the hair itself painted on the cheeks. But when you choose the Genesis 9 figure for the face transfer, the hair disappears. The face is all one tone.
I wonder why the same program does one thing with Genesis 8 figure, but does a better job with Genesis 9?
Anyway, I just wanted to pass this along to my fellow artists.

you get 3 free goes so that probably is FT2, after that it will be disabled
Hi Wendy, you're right. I read the info on FT2 and realized I was wrong. I just bought FT2. Now comes the fun...
Three free saves, after which it will have a watermark on the forehead.
That's why I love DAZ so much, as the morphs are still viable, I don't care for the projected texture look so I still end up using other textures, that's the entire reason why I bought FT2 in the first place, and ignore all other face transferring products as they merely project the picture on the face, using morphs as an aside and not a fully functioning feature, so it's completely useless for me, but FT2 is incredibly viable for my work!
hey my first go had a watermark
