Height of Gen 9 figures

I was curious what is the starting height of a female Gen 9 figure. I don't know if they have come up with something similar to Measure Metrics for Genesis 9 figures, but I did create a 6' block and shrunk it down to the figure's starting height. It came out are 5 foot and 5.5 inch tall. Is that the correct starting height?
For now it looks like I will need to create blocks to help measure my Gen 9 figures is I need them taller or shorter. Or is there an easier way? I do need to find something to help measure the Gen 9 figure (36-26-36) and to change them to what they need to be.

Do you have Mesure Metrics?
Here's the results of G9 Base Feminine, with Imperial Unit ~
I do have Measure Metrics, but it's for 3 and 8. I'll give it a try for the Gen 9 figure. I'll let you know.
I don't think it works with Gen 9. I just tried to measure a female Gen 9 and it says she's just shy of 6 feet tall. I put up a block that's six feet and I shrink it down to the Gen 9's height and it says it's 5'-6". The measure metrics I have is for all Genesis versions except for 9. Do you think there will be an update for it?
Actually it works with Genesis 9. Pls check the way I posted in this thread - https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/663636/measure-metrics-for-9 I just manually add Tapes in the above SS...
It seems that Richard ever mentioned some people from Daz are working on Measure Metrics with G9...
Doesn't work. There's been some changes in the Measure Metric program where the images don't match what i see on screen. Plus, here's an image of my Gen 8 and Gen 9. The Gen 9 is on the left and Gen 8 is on the right. They are both scaled at 100% and measure 5'-11". I know the Gen 8's height is correct, but not Gen 9. The info from the links supplied is wrong. The Gen 9 is really 5 foot 6.5 inches in height.
I have a trick I can use to measure heights and stay accurate. I just don't have a way to measure the bust, waist, and hip. Like I said, the program changes and the settings are different now.
1st, you said "...I was curious what is the starting height of a female Gen 9 figure" in the OP, the above screenshot I posted is G9 Feminine. But in your screenshot, the one on the left is just a G9 Base. G9 Feminine is a bit shorter than G9 Base.
2nd, Measure Measurement is pretty accurate, and your measurement result is wrong.... You have to precisely stack the Tape on the very top of their heads.
3rd, make sure you have updatede MM, the way I posted works with no problem.
Okay, next question. What tape? Tell me where to find it in this screenshot. The only options I have for measureing are Genesis through Genesis 8. There is no tape measure option.
Granted, the one on the left is the base figure, but usually the female is only an inch or so shorter at 100% scale.

Measure Metrics works with anything. The Figure Metrics script, and the associated presets that load a set of measures onto a figure, require an update for Genesis 9. You can set up your own measures http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/plugins/measure_metrics/start
Add tapes from here, as attached SS ~
Thank you, Crosswind. You got me most of the way there and I was able to figure out how to use the tape after installing it. Thanks for the help.
And it turned out a 100% Genesis 9 female figure is 5 foot and 6.8 inches tall.
Now the next trick will be trying to measure the figure's waist, bust, and hips.
No problem ~ Yes, please !
When I first purchased the Measure Metrics, they had the tape option in the same screen/section with the figures. I noticed a long time ago the tape disappeared from that section, but I wasn't concern because when I did try it before I couldn't get it to work correctly. (That was before I learn about the valuable help I can get here in the forum).
Out of curiosity, is there a way to use the tape to measure width and depth? I'm going to play around with it later to find out how.
Thanks again for your help.
Width and depth of what? Are you wanting both at once? This section may have somne helpful suggestions, though without fully understanding what you want I am not sure which one(s) you need http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/plugins/measure_metrics/advanced_measuring/start#restrict_to_polygon_selection
In addition to the help document, as a reference, I ever gave an example of measuring a chest's H.W.D by using Measure Metrics, Align plugin and Rigid Follow Node. Pls see if that may help ~~

I just use a new Null and axis transform. It tracks position in metric by default. If you're only concerned with height, that will do the trick. It will also work with width and depth if you carefully do the math. You would be dividing your total width / depth in half, then apply it to the zero point. Therefore, one of your Nulls will be -X, and the other will be +X. For me, I only use CM as my starting unit. I'm faster with imperial, so I convert inches to CM. So, if my character is 6'1, I'll start with 73 inches, then convert that to metric = 185.42 cm.
