Moved my content files to external hard drive but CMS is not working

I moved all my content to an external hard drive based on these instructions:

but now my CMS is not working.  Any help?

    Is not working, as in won't run, or is not finding your files? Did you tell DS where they are (the folder that holds the Runtiem and Data folders, among others, is the one you want)?

    It was working but reading off a different location even after I had changed the file location for CMS.  Had to shut down and restart CMS and it seems to be working now and reading off the new location.  Thanks for replying!
