Hi I am new here, just downloaded daz3d. (not sure if this is the right place to post). I am trying to make a 3d character, but it is a drawn one. Therefore face transfer ain't working well on it. Is there anyway to make my OG character without sculpting it from scratch??

If you don't know well about sculpting, using Face Transfer with photo(s) plus some tweaking with morph packages would be a better way for newbies... But if it's a drawing, you still may try using morph packages to make it as per the drawing.
Mariya. Character created with a combination of Face Transfer, Face Transfer Shapes for G8 and Growing Up for G8F from a pencil drawing by Andrij Bilchenko. While the quality of the drawing (or painting) is important like any good image it is well worth the effort!
Nice transfer. I'm curious about how that pencil drawing looks like. Is it possible you post a screenshot in here?
Just as soon as I find it. The original is somewhere among 3000+ images. Meanwhile go to Pinterest and search for Andrij Bilchenko which may prove to be a bit faster!
Found it! It's Andrij Bilichenko (with an extra 'i'), not they way I spelled it! It is a portrait of his daughter, Mariya!
AI can convert any drawing to a color photo if you want to go that route. Use the ControlNet extension to extract the features of the drawing, and then AI can use that to recolor the picture. It probably won't be perfect, but you won't know unless you try.
OK, thanks! Will give it a try
Just for fun I decided to try Mariya with G9 and Face Transfer 2. This is the result. Apart from some minor corrections to the lower face to fix a receeding chin using G9 Head Shapes and 200 Plus Head and Face Morphs G9 Edition plus her smile, this is out-of-the-box, so to speak. Her skin is the one applied by FT 2 automatically which is a big improvement given that it was applied to a mono image!
