4.22 Aliased Image after 6h of rendering

I'm getting a strange problem with Daz Studio, and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. After 6 hours of rendering, which I cancelled(didn't go past 0%), I got the attached horribly aliased image. Using default settings, except for firefly effect and Max Samples/Max Time.(MaxSamples and MaxTime are at -1)

Should I quadruple the resolution and set max samples to a normal value? IRAY got past 170000 iterations.

I did the same with the normal resolution I work with(1080x1080) and got the second image result after only 30 minutes.

What should I do to solve this? I'm pretty sure it didn't go to CPU as the log shows it only used the GPU.

Specs:

Intel Xeon 2669v3 2.4(12 cores, 24 threads)
GeForce RTX 3060 12GB
RAM 16GB

Thanks.

PS.: No, I'm not using Denoiser, as it degrades the quality a lot, specially with mirrored surfaces, and it doesn't help in this case.

I don't see pixelation on those

  • Look at the leg of the character in the first pic, the second pic is only a comparison.

  • For some reason, Daz resetted my render settings to the Mitchell filter at 0.80, thus the aliased pics. Strange that's frequent, whenever I save a scene with the default settings with gaussian filter, Daz reverts back to Mitchell upon loading.
