I'm trying to add a bone to a mesh
But when I use ERC Freeze
My bone is getting into the wrong position
How to fix it
i used Memorize figure rigging
Now the bones don't change
I have already applied ERC Freeze

You add a bone to the body of a Genesis figure ? What is it for ?
Check rotation order and adjust rigging to shape first...
Yes it is Genesis 8
I want to add ass and belly bones
so that when I export the figure in blender I can immediately add physics for the chest, ass and belly
But I don't know how to add bones correctly
So you want to create a customized figure for this purpose... not complicated but need to be careful. As usual with Joint Editor, create custom Bones with parenting. Adjust points position / orientation, assign proper Face Group with weight. Memorize Rigging. If you use body morph(s) on the figure, Adjust Rigging to Shape and ERC Freeze with morph(s) dialed.
From you screenshot, it seems that you did not memorize rigging...
But how?
ERC Freeze doesn't work for my bones.
I don't know what am I doing wrong?
Why don't they change automatically like other bones?
The process is pretty standardized in most cases.... You may check the clip of an example I just recorded in here - https://mega.nz/file/yDhzlLQa#mjSfnpbPlfj4Vpwyts6yO7deNOkDgrxCnoy6FIQ4gbw
It'll work with no problem if you do it correctly.
By default ERC Freeze restores the rigging, having incorporated any diffences into the formula linked to the cotnrol property. You need to memeorise the rigging before adjustign rigging to shape or usign ERC Freeze, since those require the memorised state of things a a starting point.
Someone posted a G8F version with glute bones at Render Hub.
That freebie from RH is useless ~ It has wrong points position / orientation, no rigging memorized and also destroys the eixisting weight with the wrong weight of its own...
TBH, glutes "move" by no bone but muscles, so even if technically adding bones to them is doable in DS but practically it's meaningless..., at least in DS. Just like the case in G3F in which there're bones of Heels, but in G8, they're gone 'cause they're useless...
The same could be said of the face, most of the bones used in Genesis 8/9 are reproducing the effect of muscles, but bones can handle this kind of thing quite well.
In real world, bones are driven to move by tendons and muscles while in 3D world, bones drive "mesh" to move with rigging and weight ~
