60th Bryce Contest (Hidden Worlds)
Intro:
Apoc had given me a list of Contest Ideas to help get you going for this next Contest and told me to pick one. While I don't generally participate in the Bryce Forums, I was a Bryce user for a fair long while so I picked a topic I always enjoyed personally exploring within Byce which was its world building capabilities. So for this challenge I decided to choose the theme "Hidden Worlds"
Bryce Contest #60
Theme: Hidden Worlds
Description:
My apologies that this went up late. Apoc had asked me to put this next Challenge up and I misunderstood and didn't realize it was due "now" and so I was meant to have all ready posted this . That said, hopefully this gets you started. As for the parameters of the Challenge, you are free to interpret it however you like: A literal hidden planet, a fractal world that defies dimensions, or a hidden space for a civilization that is as of yet unfound. When considering the contest, try to think of the inhabitants of said world. Are they still living there? Are they gone and the world abandoned? Who were the people/beings that lived in this place? Were they beings of flight? Were they elemental? Are they large? Tiny? Once you can picture them, what would their hidden world look like? Is it hidden within current society? Is it just above or underneath? Or is it off in the stars all on its own? Hopefully this gives you all some fun ideas to explore. World building can be so fun and, while definitely not the only thing a person can do with Bryce, it has always been one of my personal favorite things to use Bryce to explore.
Good luck to everyone

Wow what a lovely idea for a challenge and very challenging too. Looking forward to the entries. Thanks Daz-ann0314 for setting it up.
Love this idea. So many possibilities. Thank you for giving me a Bryce goal to achieve.
Nice theme, yes... and I think I have Ideas for this Challenge.
Nice theme, no idea how to start but it's still early days.
Great challenging challenge, I like it! Ideas will come (I hope).
Hidden World
I took an old image and did major rework on it. This is Second Sid by Andi3D looking out into a foreign world, to him. Is Sid from a hidden world or is this the hidden world?
NGartplay a beautiful start to this challenge, awesome idea well done

Horo adbc mermaid010 Hansmar + Thanx very much +
My first entry, using desert rock from Northern Studios. Two fawns and two meerkat from DAZ. Instanced clump of grass and some stones. Sky from Horo/David B. Inside the cave Three implementations of earthlike planet (with different textures), a radial light and a spotlight as well as one of Jepe's atmospheric effects. Title: Worlds in a Cave.
Great idea Hansmar and well done.
Hansmar - great idea, and brilliantly done.
Horo, mermaid, Thank you. I saw a small error and corrected it (one of the fawns was hovering).
Hansmar : nice idea and very well done.
+ 1
Here is a second one. The interior is part of the Rustic Living Room set. The reading boy is a Genesis with some simple clothing. The book is HLA book. The dragon, castle and knight are freebies from Free3D. I changed all textures to procedural Bryce textures, except those for the boy and his hair. For these I reduced the size of the pictural textures to ensure that Bryce would not crash (often) on me. I also deleted quite some of the room interior for the same reason.
Title: Books full of hidden worlds.
Wow Hansmar a beautiful and outstanding entry, fantastic idea.
Hansmar : another great idea, fantastic entry.
Hansmar - again an outstanding idea and a very well done entry.
Hansmar : another good idea, and entry.
Another W.I.P.
the front one is the Everyday world And the back one is the Alternate world
& the Alternate is Only " visible/ shows " When No-one is looking + Thanx
