DAZ2UE: Rig changing on export when exporting with morphs

When using the DAZ to Unreal bridge with morphs, the export process will change the rig (on the exported files and within DAZ) and it cannot be recovered.
It does this before or during the "convert" step in the export process.

In the photos attached you can see it is totally fine and just the way I want it [BEFORE] and then tweeked [After].

After the process,
- the rig does not go back to the correct position.
- "Zero Figure" does not fix it
- "Adjust figure to shape" (which works before) does not return it either
It's toast and locked in this new (incorrect) configuration.

FYI - Memorize rig does not prevent this as well (per another thread in the forum)

It is not ALL morphs... but certainly several.
I have about 400 morphs I'm trying to export.
After trial and error, I have a block of 160 that will export with no problem.
But two other blocks that do not work and I can't believe going through one by one to find which morphs are causing this is the way.

Especially since this does not happen with just a normal FBX export.
Which I know can be a workaround - but I'd prefer to get all this figured out in one process...

Thoughts?

  • Additional information.

It has something to do with morphs that impact the skeleton when "Lock Bone Translation for Morphs" is selected.

I can't find a way to troubleshoot this.
It seems to silently fail and leaves you to recognize on your own that the rig you though you exported has changed and then you have to going through morphs one by one?

    Suggestions?
