Why use the Daz-to-whatever?

When Daz came out with all those Daz-to-whatever, I signed up thinking I would use the one for Photoshop. Since then I've seen I don't know how many Daz-to-whatever products in the freebie list that didn't list Daz 4.whatever, meaning it wasn't compatible unless I use one of the Daz-to whatevers. So, as of now my Daz is not connected to my Photoshop, which happens to be a CS6, and I was wondering why use it. Can you give me a little info on that please?

I am not following what the issues is, but as with GoZ it is a matter of convenience - reducing the number of steps needed to do soemthing that could be done via manual export/import steps.
I use DaztoC4D because it's a great way to get Daz content into C4D (and would use a Daz to Houdini bridge if Daz made one).
Thanks, that makes sense. Now the next question, and here is where I show my ignorance, why would I want to do that? Won't it be the same as copy and paste a figure into a photo or another image?
The programs for which bridges exist have a lot of capabilities that DS doesn't, or that are much greater than what DS offers. You get better animation tools, different render engines, modeling capabilities, more powerful simulation tools, etc. DS is great for character creation, and Daz makes a lot of great assets, but if I tried to make something like this in DS, I'd lose my mind.
With the Daz to C4D bridge, I can export a character with morphs and expressions at a higher resolution and much more easily than simply exporting an FBX.
In the case of the Photoshop bridge, I don't really know what the benefit is vs. just opening a render in Photoshop, but I don't use Photoshop. It's worth mentioning that some of the products in the Daz store, such as Deviney's, are just Photoshop brushes and assets, which would explain why they're not listed as compatible with DS. They're post-render tools only.
Gordig, thank you for the explanation. I'm glad I'm not missing out on something. As of now I only use Daz for my artwork, though I do envy others who are more advance than myself using their graphics options.
