    A Cold in Paris: Them NyQuil Blues

    Nico was excited about modeling as a cowboy at Studio Paris.  Vicky seemed animated about modeling as the saloon singer.  Unfortunately, she caught a cold and had to quit.  She'd packed a medicine that was 100 proof though.  That worked out well.  They passed the bottle around, sang an old song, and everyone ended up feeling much better-- even the horse.

    errata: "NyQuil Blues" was a comedy song performed by Alvin Crow circa 1975

    Anthropology student Lin Mei was delighted to receive a fellowship from the  Benjamin Button Society to study an isolated people in the remote village of Khatzmalobenchenk who were mysteriously aging backwards.     Sometimes making a cartoon or a series of images works, and look at previous contests, putting half the items on a poster on the wall is one solution.....

    Thanks for kind comments.  Art imitates life?  Had a bit of a flu bug over the holidays so maybe it came to mind.   

    Entries in no particular order & hopefully not accidently leaving anyone out.

    Damien's Fiance

    Foul language and a nasty attitude can come in handy.   Helps that he probably gets 'bad' performance reviews at work too.  I like the little creature btw.  Demons probably wouldn't have a cute little Spaniel.  ; )

    Anthropology Student

    Granny (the child wearing the round glasses) is probably hiding gin and a White Owl cigar under the table.   Poor Lin Mei.  Got more than she bargained for!

    Crashing the Scorpion Folk's Party

    Didn't know Scorpion folk order takeout just like everyone else.  Like where one of them seems as interested in the sandwich on the floor than bowling over the angel.  Fun!  I wouldn't want to be the delivery driver from the local deli tho.

    Last Butterfly War

    That's one very disciplined soldier.  Stand at attention, salute, and have to ignore the bird on your hat.   You know it's going to leave a 'deposit' on your dress uniform, but 'disipline before dry-cleaning!'   Poor butterflies though.  The birds want to eat them so hopefully the snake can have some nice feathery treats too.

    Hands down, hysterical!  What a really great concept for a sitcom!  The expressions are perfect and the smoking manbaby is so outrageously wrong it's right.   You've done Mrs. Chow as a baby before and I still find it wonderfully disturbing - it's becoming a motif  for you.  Top of my list for funniest so far.  Can't say enough about how much of a tickle this gave me to start my day!

    Doing the Scuba-Dooba


    Dacie was a certified dive instructor.  Normally, she liked the free spirited population in Monterrey.  Meanwhile, Theodore went to the diving lessons for the wrong reason.  On a radio commercial, he heard the word “Scuba” as “Dooba” -- the latest dance craze.  Thinking the ad was for dancing lessons, he cranked up the music.  It turned out well.  The other students thought dancing must be a warm-up before the required physical fitness test.  The paramedic was amused.  Dacie wasn’t.  “Dive lessons with disco music. Just shoot me!” She thought.

    Been having some technical problrems with video card, so 3 might be a charm until I see if card is on its way out or a just driver issue.

    Anyway, happy random rendering.  If have to order a new card, will still be fun to see what everyone else comes up with.  : )

    Cyborg Rebellion

    Our heroes had struck a deal with Mayor Morquana on the backwater moon Psillex about turning an old junk yard  into a luxury hotel and resort, but the Cyborg Rebellion tried to stop it by sending an assassin to take out the Mayor, but it all went well in the end.

    Lana's Helpers
    Lana's helpful robo helper invited its friends to help Lana move. She was uneasy at first and did not like the rudely jovial oversized kewpi doll (who would make something like that?) But once everyone got their instructions and settled down thing went well.
