Problem rotate view with a new shortcut key

Hi all, i want to assign the rotate view (default: Alt key ) to the middle mouse button it is possible ? or it's hardcoded ?

    Good question.  I don't know but I did not see a set of navigation options in the preferences : shortcuts area.  Will be following this thread to see if anyone else knows.

    I alreay have this pdf file but thanks for the link Bunyip02.

    I have made a test change a shorcut key by another key, exit carrara, but i don't know where the file is saved and i don't know the filename for the config file, this maybe help if i can found it, it the same problem with hexagon.

    On Windows the config file - 'Preferences.txt' - is located in <your user>\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\Carrara 8.5\

    I don't think the solution is within Carrara. More likely in the mouse driver (eg button setting in case of Logitech device). Or in settings like 'Accessibility' of the OS.
