Rendering slowed down? Here's one solution.

With the last update to 4.22 my rendering slowed down drastically. I cleared my cache, history, browser history, deleted uneeded files, and ran Bitdefender's One-Step Optimizer. But it didn't help. I tried to search through the threads and found tucked away in an old post something about updating the video driver. The driver I had in my computer is around 2 years old and I never updated it. I thought it would update itself automatically like Microsoft. But, nope,it didn't. I opened my GeForce Experience screen and saw the update option. I clicked it and turns out I did need to update. I did that and now my speed is back to great. Even better than before.

Just wanted to pass this along to anyone else who might be having problems.

Iray development goes hand in hand with the development of new drivers at Nvidia, the Iray devs are not using multi year old drivers and neither should you.
