Hi, I have Otis HD in my scene (artist, Daz Origianls, Kooki99) and when I render in Iray the character doesn't have the white sparkle (white dot) in his eyes. It just doesnt' look right without the white sparkle.
What do I need to do to get that in his eyes?
Thanks

How are you lighting the scene? The sparkle is usually the erflection of a bright light (an actual light, a window etc.).
I was just using the light that is there when rendering in Iray. I used a couple other characters and both of them had the white sparkle on the eye. I did also try using a distant light but that didn't do anything.
The othrs may have had fake highlights painted on to thee yes - do they move with the eyes if you rotate them, or do they stay in the same place relative to the world as the eye moves?
You might want to dial in some Eyes Cornea Bulge to help with the eye highlights. I loaded Otis a little while ago and noticed he had very little eye highlighting coming from my standard lighting setup. I set the Eyes Cornea Bulge at 100% and that helped a lot.
Some time ago, I created some materials presets to apply to the cornea of the various generations of Genesis. Those presets boost the glossiness/reflectivity of the cornea to give the eye glints more presence. I use them on all my characters after I apply their materials/textures. It helps quite a bit with my style of rendering/lighting.

Thanks for the help, but for some reason the dots are in both eyes this morning. Kinda strange because one of the things I tried yesterday before writing this discussion is to close Daz and restart the PC.
Again thanks to both of you for your help! !
