removing a stuck morph

Hi,Im wondering if anyone can help me. A while ago I was trying to save a morphed character, like a character preset but I didnt know what I was doing and did something that makes all my genesis nine figures carry Mia head body and details. Everytime I open a clean gen 9 ,I have to go to shaping and remove the Mia morph. Im trying to bring some morphed genesis 8s forward with Man fridays figure converter into genesi 9s,and they end up with Mia in them and are useless . I have uninstalled the whole program and reinstalled it,do I need to go in and remove my basic genesis 9 folder and reinstall that ,or is there a way inside Daz that will allow me to remove this consistent morph? Help please :)

  • Uninstalling the application won't help with content issues, and nor will uninstaling and reinstaling the base since the issue is with an add-on. If Mia is a character from a store try reinstalling that, in case it's a simple overwrite problem.

  • Hi Richard, thanks for replying. Its Mira, not Mia,sorry and its a base figure. She pops in everytime I open a genesis 9.Its ok when Im just making a set of morphs to play with ,but I want to export Gen 9 and take it into blender and Mira pops into the Gen 9 in the developer kit. I wish I could remember what I did !!! If I cant undo her its ok as Im moving onto another computer soon and will install everything fresh,at least all my nine stuff.

Mira is a character product, if you've installed this product, Mira's all morphs will be with G9 no matter Dev Load or not... if Mira you mentioned is this :https://www.daz3d.com/mira-9-hd

So what's the real issue ? You don't wanna have this Mira's morph in Blender ? How do you export G9 to Blender ? Daz to Blender bridge or sth. ?

You need to remove the morph you created.

The morph(s) can be found in /data/DAZ 3D/Genesis 9/Base/Morphs/[Your author name]

Hi PerttiA ,I did that, removed a file that was odd,and the program reloaded all the genesis 9 starter basics again, and she is still there!!!!

Ive given up for now :) I have a character preset saved of gen 9 without the morph and I work from that .Thanks for your time :)

If the morph is still there, you didn't remove the right files or you have them installed in multiple places, in different Content Libraries or under different author name.
