Viewport settings undone in upgrade

So, I upgraded to 4.21.0.5 Pro 64bit and on launch I find a Mac Store has thrown up on my GUI.  Everything is an ugly shade of white, all of my settings are undone and when I try to load my old style, I find there are no other styles and the menus are blank.  What is going on?  And if this is working as intended, how to I roll back to the previous version?

    Rolled back to 4.12.0.86 everything is fine.  Not sure what's going on.

    Before installation or uninstallation, assure that you completely close DS application, or kill its session in Task Manager.

    Wow, hard to believe something that simple could be the culprit.  Thanks, Crosswind.  Closed everything down did a fresh install and that seems to have cleared it up.  Up and running correctly.
